Joel Kjetselberg is leaving his role as head coach of FC RosengĂ„rd. The club would like to extend a big thank you to Joel for his efforts â during the recent period and throughout the years at FC RosengĂ„rd.
Joel Kjetselberg returned to FC RosengÄrd ahead of this year's season on a one-year contract and was given an important role in the first phase of the club's long-term work to re-establish FC RosengÄrd at the absolute top.
During the year, Joel has been involved in establishing new working methods and laying a solid foundation in the player group and sporting activities. He is now leaving his role as head coach as the club moves on to the next phase of development.
But Joel's importance to FC RosengÄrd goes back considerably further than this season.
As head coach, he was very much involved in the historic golden season of 2024. FC RosengÄrd then won 25 of 26 matches in Damallsvenskan, took 75 points and secured the club's 14th Swedish Championship gold. In total, there have been over 150 competitive matches in FC RosengÄrd's management team, ten of which as head coach in the UEFA Women's Champions League.
